All couples desired to be
wed will be required to complete a premarital counseling
course with a minister on staff.
Facilities
The Sanctuary can accommodate
800 people. The church will be available the day before
the wedding for decoration purposes. Fresh flowers will
be the only decorating that will be allowed the day of the
wedding.
The fellowship Hall accommodates
around 250 people. The church has tables and chairs available.
Reserving the facilities
Scheduling is required 6 months
prior to the desired date of the wedding. A deposit of $100.00
and a signed and completed wedding agreement will be required
to secure a wedding date on the church calendar. All remaining
fees are due 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Weddings and
rehearsals will not be scheduled on holiday weekends. Due
to Christmas productions, parties and other programs we
do not have weddings in December.
Rehearsals
The rehearsal MUST be promptly
at the time scheduled. The rehearsal is scheduled for one
hour.
The wedding coordinator will conduct
the rehearsal.
Both sets of parents, all ushers, all
the bride's and groom's attendants and anyone else directly
involved in the ceremony should be present.
Our sound technician will be present
at the rehearsal. Sound checks with musicians and vocalists
will be one hour before the wedding.
The wedding coordinator is available
to assist in securing any musicians needed.
Our sound and video system
can accommodate CD's, tapes, slide presentations, live musicians
and soloists. Only FBC personnel may operate our sound and
video system.
Photography
The photographer may take
pictures before and after the ceremony in any part of the
building or church grounds. Please give a list of pictures
you have agreed upon to the photographer to expedite this
process. Video taping is allowed from designated areas to
be approved by the wedding coordinator.
PLEASE REMEMBER
No Alcoholic beverages may be served
at the reception or allowed on church grounds.
Smoking is not allowed in the building
or on church grounds.
No dancing will be allowed at the reception.
Birdseed, bubbles or rose petals may
be thrown outside the building.
Fresh flower petals are not allowed on
the sanctuary floor, only silk will be permitted.
Wedding Coordinator
The wedding coordinator will
assist you in making the most of the facilities and in planning
for your ceremony. The coordinator will meet with you on
several occasions. The first meeting with you will be to
tour the facilities, make deposit, fill out wedding agreement
and place your date on the church calendar. The next meeting
will be to go over your order of service and make any other
arrangements. The last one will be 2 weeks prior to the
wedding. We will finalize the plans for your special day.
The final payment will be due at this meeting.
